New Business Manager - Application and Cloud Technology

The Role

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing and successful sales team to focus on increasing our Application & Cloud Technology business. Trams has recently become part of the Econocom family, and we’re looking for a talented and determined individual to join us at a time of aggressive growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be part and influence the next stage of the Trams journey.

The successful candidate must be able to work single-handedly and within a team, building relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best price and service to clients. In this role you will use your personable skills and Cloud Solutions knowledge and the Microsoft product set to acquire new customers. This is a new role within Trams, with scope to build a team over the next 12 months.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to learn computerised stock control and order processing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Unloading, lifting and relocating products up to 25kg in weight.
  • Scanning, sorting and preparing packages for a wide range of products.
  • Adhering to workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures and schedules.
  • An interest in technology.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and new technologies

Trams Ltd is an expanding technology reseller in the UK with a substantial portfolio of products that we source and supply to the business market. We employ a team of dedicated and motivated staff who are all key to ensuring the success of our organisation. As a result of business growth, we looking to expand the current team to meet the increasing demand for our services. The opportunity exists for the successful applicant to receive training in the technical configuration of equipment in our configuration facility based at the same site.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Depending upon qualifications and experience. Plus benefits.
