Account Management Sales

Education/Schools Market – Full Time - Permanent SE London (nr. Waterloo)

Basic Salary: £27,000 p.a. + Commission (OTE Approx £45K;uncapped)

We are a leading Apple Reseller looking for an experienced Account Manager to generate new sales opportunities. Candidates will have experience in a Proactive Sales role ideally promoting hardware, software, or a technology focussed product and be used to engaging at all levels. With excellent communication and English language skills you will generate your own pipeline and drive opportunities. Candidates must also have solid CRM skills and be able to track the sales process from Lead to Opportunity to the final Sale.

The Account Manager will act as a first point of contact for new prospective sales leads and will generate their own leads and raise awareness of products and services in the London Schools market.

Essential Experience & Skills to Include:

  • Sales experience in the technology / software field or within the Education market
  • A good understanding of Apple products and solutions and associated technologies
  • Hunter mentality and be comfortable working in an environment with a high focus on outbound lead generation.
  • Excellent ‘Business Sense’ for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic environment.

This is a new role in the organisation so candidates have a great opportunity to establish this function and play a pivotal role in the development of new business opportunities. You will be working in a sales environment but will need to be proactive as you are the only person doing this role.

Colour Print Technician

Job Type: Full Time
Position: Colour Print Technician
Location: London (servicing 2 sites)
Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30hrs
Salary - £26k

Occasional opportunities for overtime or weekend work.

The position is to service and maintain a fleet of Xerox multifunction devices to a Fogra Colour proofing standard. Our clients SLA’s require that each of the devices be checked and recalibrate within a 6 weeks rotation. A full understanding of hardware RIP’s is required with the primary RIP being the Xerox Freeflow UNIX operating system. This service is carried out in a live production environment within the Publishing sector, were there will be an element of break fixes with publishing deadlines needing to be met.

Other aspects of the job are:

You'll be expected to liaise with a colleague at another site to help remotely monitoring each sites devices throughout the working week. With the input of proofing paper being topped up while walking around the buildings and taking meter reads from your devices and reporting these back to head office for accounting purposes. You’ll also be expected to maintain the correct stock levels of both paper and Xerox consumables for your two main offices. Finally as part of the roll there may still be a requirement to calibrate a number of 22” LCD colour displays once again to an ISO Standard.

Experience with handling X-Rite i1 colour profiling hardware would be required ideally with experience of working with the Oris PressMatch software but not essential as training will be given in the case of the Oris software.

There are four site locations but the two primary locations for this position will be:
London - Canary Wharf, E14
London - Southwark, SE1

The working week will be split between 2 sites with alternate days based at each office with remote diagnostic monitoring held at each site.

  • Experience of StorNext SAN and/or xSAN
