The Role

Trams|Econocom, part of the Econocom Group, is a rapidly growing B2B technology reseller in the UK, currently looking to recruit a new Marketing Assistant to join the marketing team and play a pivotal role in creating and executing marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for conducting campaigns on behalf of leading technology giants such as Apple, Lenovo, Dell, VMware and many more. The Marketing Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute ideas to marketing campaigns, learn new skills and be given responsibility to enhance your marketing career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and create social media activity.
  • Creating videos for website and social media.
  • Liaise with agencies and technology partners.
  • Create content for emails, blogs, webpages and social media posts.
  • Help create greater awareness of our brand to increase leads.
  • Assist the sales team with sales presentations and PowerPoints.
  • Source quotes and liaise with suppliers to put the activities in place.
  • Assist in improving company visibility within market.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Executive to improve campaigns effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing.
  • Analyse results with the team to improve messaging and traffic to website.
  • Help with events with potential and current customers.


    • Marketing qualification – Degree or CIM.
    • Experience in a range of marketing activities; emails, web pages, blogs etc.
    • Knowledge of video creation and editing for social media.
    • Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach and willingness to help across the team.
    • Passion for latest technology.
    • Aptitude to prioritise workload and multitask effectively.
    • Creative, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with outstanding attention to detail and positive attitude.
    • Results orientated.

    Job Type: Full-Time
    Salary: £24,000 to £26,000

    Schedule: Monday to Friday. 09:00 – 17:30
    The role would be considered a hybrid role, with the successful candidate expected to be able to travel to the London HQ a minimum of 3 days per week.
