Sales / Business Development Executive

The Role

Trams|Econocom is a rapidly expanding technology reseller in the UK who are currently looking to recruit a new position as the company continues to grow. The Business Development Executive will ideally have 1 year experience within B2B Business Development and Telesales with excellent customer service skills.

The successful applicant will be working with our Head of Sales to focus on selling products such as Lenovo, Dell, HP and Apple. The successful candidate must have a hunger to succeed and be capable of dealing with the sales process from lead / opportunity to the final sale. In return, the company will provide ongoing training to develop you into a Sales Executive Role and then eventually into a Senior Sales Role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to clients on a daily basis to new accounts and existing customers
  • Identify new opportunities via customers and their needs
  • Confidently communicate via telephone and email whilst building rapport with customers
  • Managing and updating the CRM system
  • Work with Head of Sales and Marketing to open up new leads

Role Requirements

  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment.
    Strong objection handling
  • Ability to manage different tasks
  • Excellent ‘Business Sense’ for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic environment.
  • Keen on developing and learning
  • Have a strong attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, aptitude for process and problem solving
  • Able to work on your own an be driven to succeed

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £18,000 to £24,000 p.a. (depending on experience and proven track record) + Commission (OTE Approx £50K+ uncapped)
