Sales/Business Development Executive

The Role

Trams|Econocom is a rapidly expanding technology reseller in the UK who is currently looking to recruit for a new position as the company continues to grow. The ideal Business Development Executive should have at least one year of experience in B2B Business Development and Telesales, combined with excellent customer service skills.

The successful applicant will work with our Head of Sales to sell Lenovo products like ThinkPads and ThinkBooks while exploring Lenovo Servers opportunities. The successful candidate must have a hunger to succeed and be capable of dealing with the sales process from lead/opportunity to the final sale. In return, the company will provide ongoing training to develop you into a Sales Executive Role and then eventually into a Senior Sales Role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to clients daily to new accounts and existing customers
  • Identify new opportunities via customers and their needs
  • Confidently communicate via telephone and email whilst building rapport with customers
  • Managing and updating the CRM system
  • Work with Head of Sales and Marketing to open up new leads

  • Strong objection handling.
  • Ability to manage different tasks.
  • Excellent ‘Business Sense’ for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic environment.
  • Keen on developing and learning.
  • Have strong attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, aptitude for process and problem-solving.
  • Able to work on your own and be driven to succeed.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £18,000 to £24,000 p.a. (depending on experience and proven track record) + Commission (OTE Approx £50K+ uncapped)
