Trams Ltd, an award-winning Value-Added Reseller in enterprise, media, education & public sector, has been named as a supplier on The Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Online Technology Purchasing Content framework (RM6147).
Established for 30 years, Trams is one of the longest-established UK Apple Resellers & is connected to other major best-in-breed technology companies such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Quantum and Adobe.
The Technology Online Purchasing Content framework allows for the procurement of "low complexity technology products" including PCs, Apple Mac, iPad, iPhones and accessories.
Warren Peel, Managing Director of Trams says, “Being awarded a place on the framework is a great indicator of Trams position in the IT sector. Our pricing, support and customer service means public sector organisations will be able to procure Windows, macOS and iOS devices smoothly and at the most competitive prices.”
In 2019, Trams first joined the Gov.uk Digital Marketplace under the G-Cloud 11 Services with “TramsCloud” (powered by Jamf Pro), an in-house Mobile Device Management solution for Mac & iOS devices. With the inclusion of the Technology Online Purchasing Content Framework, it provides Trams with two listings, with plans at expanding further to help local authorities and governing bodies with their IT needs.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn - supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers.
“Whether customers are looking for a one-off piece of hardware or a MacBook Pro with a bundle of accessories & compatible software, Trams can assist”, continues Warren, “Combine this with our customer service, and agile approach to requests and deliveries, it will show how serious we are at delivering value for money.”
