Trams|Econocom is recruiting a new position to expand our footprint into corporate markets and requires an experienced door-opener to generate new sales opportunities. The successful applicant will be working with our Head of Sales to focus on selling Quantum, DellEMC, HPE, NetApp and Pure storage, along with the associated infrastructure, backup and archive software and support services.
We are the number one Quantum Storage Reseller in EMEA. Trams have won the Quantum StorNext VAR of the Year award on an unprecedented nine (9) occasions. Our customers include BBC, SKY UK, Manchester United TV, Burberry, and many more in M&E and Corporate environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in proactive sales, selling Quantum, DellEMC and/or competitor scale-out storage solutions at all levels. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will generate your pipeline and drive opportunities.
Candidates must also have solid CRM skills and be able to track the sales process from Lead to Opportunity to the final Sale.
You will have the benefit of our in-house technical team and storage consultants to help you specify and design the right solution to match customer requirements. You will also be expected to work closely with the Business Development Managers at each manufacturer. All of our vendors are extremely supportive of our efforts, and they will fully back you to help you succeed in this exciting new role.
The role will report directly to the Head of Sales and involve close collaboration on a mutual business plan.
The role would be considered a hybrid role, with the successful candidate expected to be able to travel to the London HQ a minimum of 3 days per week.
